<p>Bob Foster Scholarship Award Recipient - AFP Conference 2010</p><p>Mary Utecht</p><p>I am very honored to have been selected as the recipient of the 2010 Bob Foster Scholarship Award and have the opportunity to attend the AFP Annual Conference in San Antonio. To be apart of such a large, diverse gathering of financial professionals was truly inspiring. I have been involved with MNAFP for over ten years, volunteering on various conference committees. I am currently the Annual Conference Co-Chair and on the Website committee. I have earned both the CTP and AAP certifications and am employed by Bremer Bank as a Payments Product Manager.</p><p>For me personally, it was a chance to talk to a wide variety of corporate practioners and get their perspectives on a number of topics. With all of the legislative uncertainty and financial turmoil within the financial industry in the past year, there was certainly a sense of renewed optimism amongst the attendees. There were many opportunities to network and share ideas and to get the most updated information on products and legislation. The most memorable moments of the conference was being able to hear Condoleezza Rice speak and being able to enjoy time on the famous San Antonio Riverwalk with my fellow MNAFP members.</p><p>Mary Utecht, CTP</p><p>Bremer Bank</p>
