STUDENTS</p><p> Early dismissal Friday due to football game. Dismissal time is 10:46.  The Publications Class is selling Boo Grams for $1.00. You can purchase in advance and turn them in to Mrs. Clement or the front office from October 12-23. Boo Grams will be delivered to the students during 4th block on October 30.  JROTC will be having a Bake Sale Monday, October 19 in the cafeteria concession stand at all lunches.  Students may attend the homecoming dance if they have not gotten into a fight since the beginning of the year and if they do not earn a referral for major suspendable offenses from September 29 through the time of the dance.  Art Club members that signed up to paint faces at the homecoming pep rally must be in the cafeteria for 5:00 on October 22. Wear your art club t-shirt! Also, please stop by the art room and get the calendar with meeting dates along with Little Angles foundation face painting information. You must do so before this Friday.  High Heels, High Hopes & LHS presents Community Involvement and Give Back November 14 at Lutcher Park to accept Prom Dresses to help the underprivileged and misfortunate…. also any items that would benefit the homeless with the winter coming.  All LHS attending the Homecoming Dance must present a current ID at the door. Also, no out of school guest  will be allowed in to the dance without a current picture ID. Do not make Dr. Stadalis turn you or your date away at the door.  St. James Parish is hosting an Electronics Recycling Event Saturday, October 17 from 8:00-11:00 a.m. at the Golden Grove Truck Stop. They will be accepting computer hardware and accessories, telephones movies, Xboxes, PlayStations, Wii, Cameras and many other used items.  FCA at 6:00 in the Pound tonight. Wear purple and gold and bring a friend. See you there.  If you ordered a shirt from Coach Clem you can pick them up from him for $20.00.</p><p>SPORTS</p><p> Girls and boys soccer conditioning will start next Monday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Please meet at the stadium.  Middle School girl’s basketball tryouts will take place on Thursday, October 29 beginning at 2:45. All girls wanting to try out must have an updated physical. Please get a physical form from the front office.
