<p>UTIPS Setup</p><p>Creating a UTIPS Account</p><p>1. Go to http://utips.davis.k12.ut.us.</p><p>2. Click on the key symbol next to Login. </p><p>3. In the Referer box, enter the account name of the person teaching the class. (awhiting)</p><p>4. In the Username box, enter your username. (You can choose any name you want for this)</p><p>5. Click on the Available? Link to see if the username you have chosen is available.</p><p>6. If the username you entered is not available, enter a different one and then click on the available link.</p><p>7. In the Password box and the Confirm Password box enter a password. (at least 4 characters long) </p><p>8. Enter your first name in the First Name box.</p><p>9. Enter your last name in the Last Name box.</p><p>10. Enter your complete email address in the Email box.</p><p>11. The Title box.</p><p>12. Information entered in the Title box will become the name of the folder in the left navigation area.</p><p>13. If the Title box is left blank, the information from the First Name box and the Last Name box will be used for the name of the folder and the name at the top of the main window.</p><p>14. Read the User agreement and click agree.</p><p>15. Click the Submit button.</p><p>Logging in to Your Account 1. Go to http://utips.davis.k12.ut.us.</p><p>2. Enter your username and password in the Login section.</p><p>3. Click on the Login button. </p><p>Login Screen Options</p><p>1. On the Menu Bar, click on Profile My Page.</p><p>2. Choose test login -“DETAILED only”</p><p>3. Choose “Record Test Time.”</p><p>4. Choose “Yes”- AutoFill Teacher User Name</p><p>5. Choose “With Tree” Click on the Update button.</p><p>Joining your Curriculum Group</p><p>1. On the Menu Bar, click on Profile then Buddies.. </p><p>2. Search for new buddies (type the following in the fields) </p><p>3. First Name : Adam </p><p>4. Last Name: King </p><p>5. District: Davis </p><p>6. Click "Search" </p><p>7. Adam's name should show up here. </p><p>8. Click in the box next to his name to select 9. Click "Send buddy request" </p><p>10. Email me when these steps are completed (or if you get stuck) so we can share the tests with you. 11. Once everything is set up Adam will share the district tests with you (shared tests will show up in pink!). </p><p>12. Do not add/edit/delete questions on shared tests! </p>
