<p> Noble, Eugene R. </p><p>Eugene R. Noble passed away on his birthday. No services will be held at his request. Cremation is under the direction of Heikkila Funeral Home. Gene was born on Sept. 18, 1928 to Roland Eugene Noble and Burnice Merrill Laulainen. Gene loved the outdoors and visiting old mining sites. He was always at Pinehurst Trading Post in his reserved seat sipping coffee and telling stories to his buddies. He loved to 4-wheel on the mountains around Pollock. Bouse, Ariz. was his get away in the winter where he had many friends. Gene loved helping his friends and could make friends with anyone. He was a great salesman and could sell ice to an Eskimo. He is survived by his partner of 28 years, Geri Williams; son Bill Noble and grandson Travis; son Bob, wife Andrea, grandson Nicholas, and granddaughter Annette; daughter Terri Todd, husband Keith, granddaughter Darrelee, grandson Josh; with two great- grandchildren on the way; and Geri's children Cathy Douglas, husband Walt; Glenn Walker, wife Julie; and Lorna Walker, husband Troy McMahan; and eight grandchildren.
