<p>October 12, 2017 General Membership Meeting minutes</p><p>Upcoming events</p><p>Halloween Parade-Meet at Cedar Cliff, all band members should dress up. No face painting or anything that can get in the way of playing instruments or spinning. </p><p>Pep Rally-The rally will be outside in the stadium. Afterward the Cedar Cliff mini-thon is having a tailgate party for anyone that wants to participate. Cost is $5.00 for a plate of food. There will be permission slips for pep-rally. Kids can be picked up in the parking lot between the stadium and school. Kids should be back here at 5:00 or 5:30 for football game. </p><p>Review of West Shore Classic-improvements, things we can work on for future events. </p><p>Too many volunteers-this is good, but no one wants to be just standing around. </p><p>Volunteer communication-maybe some kind of social media based communication in the future. </p><p>Name Tags-volunteers don’t know each other. </p><p>Parking directions-need for better direction for guests</p><p>Volunteer requirements-some district employees are pushing for volunteer badges in the future. Reminder that once your clearances are up to date there is a yearly vital statistics form that needs to be filled out. The form is easy to fill out and can be done in the school offices. Susan Creswell is in charge of the volunteer paperwork.</p><p>Nationals</p><p>Bus tickets are still available if your name is on the list. We were able to get a 5th bus. </p><p>We will be feeding the kids at Nationals. Parents are not allowed to get in line for food. Food is available in the stadium, or pack lunch. There was a suggestion about doing some tailgaiting, this is possible if someone wants to organize it. As far as we know awards will be around midnight, and we will probably leave around 2am to arrive back at CC around 4:30.</p><p>Clear bag Policy is enforced at Nationals. </p><p>Ticket Prices are $30-35.00 Don’t lose your ticket because it gets scanned going in and out of the stadium. </p><p>Band Banquet </p><p>Takes place the Monday after Nationals. Each member can bring two paying guests. More details to be announced. </p><p>ACC’s at West Shore Saturday November 4, 2017 . This is a Saturday where we run a show, our kids do not compete this day. The kids will be practicing. The parents run this show as a fundraiser for the Music Boosters. It is an all day event-Lots of volunteers needed!</p><p>ACC at Hershey, Sunday November 5, 2017. Our kids compete in Hershey. We have ordered 150 adult tickets, we make a profit from each ticket. Watch for announcements.</p><p>October 26 th –Trick of Treat night. Parents bring candy for our kids. Kids can dress up for practice. </p><p>Pink out at Cedar Cliff October 13, 2017.</p>
