<p>PWSA Vic General Meeting</p><p>Date: Wednesday 6th April 2011</p><p>Attendees: Danny Verocchi, James Obrien, Katie Albanis, Tina Costanzo, Sally Smith, Charlie Cassar, John Heath.</p><p>Apologies: Rachel Saunders, Yvonne Waite</p><p>Guests: Ross, Carolyn & Oliver Wright, Cheri Rhys Jones, Vicki & Alana Cassar</p><p>Guest Speaker: Dr Phil Bergman, Growth Hormone Therapy</p><p>General meeting minutes of previous year were not circulated by previous committee.</p><p>Incoming correspondence</p><p>- Roger Kilby advising us his membership cheque has not presented. Danny to follow up.</p><p>- Email from Anita Garett, person with PWS from QLD, writing to Association </p><p> o Look at blog or facebook page for persons with PWS in VIC/AUS</p><p>Outgoing Correspondence</p><p>Letter to Social work department at Royal Children’s Hospital to continue Family information clinics once Elizabeth Loughlin leaves, 1st July 2011.</p><p>Financial Report: Danny Verocchi</p><p>- Currently 60 paid members with renewals due in by 30 June 2011.</p><p>- $2000 in donations/ grants this quarter</p><p>Subscriptions: </p><p>Phone survey to non-members following up reasons why left the Association and how to interest in re-joining.</p><p>- Katie & Tina to write up survey </p><p>- Phone calls to be made April / May time frame prior to renewals</p><p>In service Report: Sally Smith</p><p>- Sally has attended Doncaster Primary School - Boorundarra City Council, in-service Carers</p><p>- Bernard Saw with daughter Adeline (Balwyn) . Tina emailed</p><p>- Moreland Network (Christine Wagner- Psychologist: 9354 0511 ) Sally to follow up.</p><p>- Possibility of attending Manningham Council School program (MASK) via Cheri Rhys Jones, Rowville Primary School via Tina and Emmerson via Katie. General Business: </p><p> Planning to begin for AGM, draft plan to be drawn up by Tina prior to next meeting and to be sent to Pzifer for support.</p><p> Rachel Saunders Horse ride fundraiser on hold until 2012.</p><p> International Conference in Sydney on 10th & 11Th March 2012. Expression of interest sought for volunteers from Victoria.</p><p> Danny to email Cheri membership form for her school.</p><p> Newsletter- Katie to follow up with Yvonne in preparing next newsletter.</p><p> Website update and planning meeting to be held on 13th April at 10am, St Pauls</p><p> Fundraising Pro-am Golf day, sponsorship required by Ross Wright. </p><p> o Ross looking for Sponsorship. Ross to email Katie requirements, Katie to email committee and Tina to email members. </p><p> Looking at potentially having our end of year Family Christmas function combined with this.
