<p>Steps to creating a free website: (This is just one of many resources you could use to build a website)</p><p>NOTE: A person should not have to sign in or be a member to VIEW your website</p><p>1. Go to http://www.webs.com/ 2. Create an account with an email address, password, and site type (personal) – Click GET STARTED 3. Continue setting up your account by filling in the fields  I suggest FIRSTLASTStudentTeaching.webs.com as a name for your Site Address 4. Select an appropriate and professional Template (Some are only available for a fee) 5. Choose Pages for your site (you can edit these later if needed). 6. When finished you will be prompted to Select your Web Package.  You will just need the Basic for this class.  You may select the package you wish to use at your discretion 7. Now be creative…Items to include  Professional headshot of your self  Career Objective and/or Current Teaching Situation  Highlights from your lessons, portfolio, worksheets, etc.  List of Current Lesson Plan Summaries with Week Dates and General Content</p><p>Once you are done, please send me an email ([email protected]) stating that you have published your website and give me the link in the email. I will place all websites on a central UTeach page so that we all have access to your lesson plans as they are uploaded each week.</p><p>Example: Pam, I have published the first draft of my website and the link is www.uteachstudentteaching.webs.com</p>
