Our Annual Social Evening will be held on Friday March 17th, 2017 at Elements Casino & Racetrack – In the Dragon Lounge – It’s a St. Patricks Day party Theme, so come as you are or dressed to impress St Paddy. Doors open at 6:00pm Great Tapa’s & live racing start at 7pm. Stay and dance the night away with live music starting at 9:30pm. </p><p>We had over 40 members and guests attend last year . The new format was well received. Make sure you don’t miss out on this entertaining evening next year! b. AED of BC Annual Golf Tournament and AGM will be held April 28th at Northview. Mark your Calendars and make sure to RSVP early, this event sells out every year!</p><p>5) New Business: a. Remember to get the word out and have the students apply for our scholarships this year, Deadline is approaching fast (Mid-March) with the awards handed out in Early April. </p><p>Scholarship Flyers are at the front – please help yourself on the way out!</p><p>6) Speaker was Dave Conway – Media Relations – Site C Dam Project for BC Hydro a. Dave updated the attendees with current facts and figures of this massive infrastructure project b.
