<p>Danfoss has updated the software package called MCT 10, this is a free download that will allow you to connect to all Danfoss drives, including the new FC300 series. As is common with all new software it is always undergoing upgrades so please make sure to download the correct version and patch as below: http://www.danfoss.com/BusinessAreas/DrivesSolutions/Softwaredownload/DDPC+Soft ware+Program.htm</p><p>Important : Use key code 12314600 as this includes support for the 4000 series drive</p><p>When you install the software mark the box that indicates you are installing the limited or light version and use the correct code!!!</p><p>Laptop with USB will be able to connect to the FC drive directly, otherwise a USB or serial to RS-485 converter will be required. I have used a USOTL4 USB to RS-485 from www.bb-elec.com with good success.</p>
