<p>Development Education (DE) Partnership Fair 9-11 October 2006, Vienna</p><p>TRIALOG in cooperation with the Development Education Forum of CONCORD is organising the Development Education (DE) Partnership Fair in Vienna on Oct. 9-11, 2006 in preparation of the expected EC funds of 10m € for DE activities in new EU member states (NMS) and Romania, Bulgaria. </p><p>In order to make the best out of this additional funds, it's important to actively involve both NGOs from the 15 "old" member states and from the 10 "new" member states as well as from the 2 Accession Countries in the elaboration of joint projects. </p><p>The specific objective of this DE Partnership Fair is to initiate partnership between European NGOs which will result in joint Development Education actions in NMS, Romania and Bulgaria to be co-financed by the European Commission under the budget line 21-02-03. Our overall objective goes beyond this goal and is to support the establishment of long-term partnerships for long-term cooperation. This cooperation should be beneficial for all partners. </p><p>The concept of the DE Partnership Fair has been discussed between TRIALOG, DEEEP, 3 CONCORD working groups and different DE experts over the last months. We now made the final agreements with TRIALOG taking the main responsibility and hope that the proposed event will raise your interest and will be useful for you and your NGOs. </p><p>Because of logistical requirements and reasons and the time pressure it was unfortunately not possible to organise an event of this size in one of the NMS, therefore the decision was made for Vienna. </p><p>Find detailled information and the programme at: http://www.trialog.or.at/images/doku/trialog_de_partnershipfair_programme.pdf </p><p>Please distribute the information on the event broadly to all NGOs in your networks and countries (EU 25 + Romania, Bulgaria). </p><p>The application deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 5. extended to Wednesday, September 13! </p><p>For logistical reasons we would appreciate to receive applications even before that date, as early as possible. </p><p>The approval of participants will be made right after September 13.
