<p> Berlin - 3 Months 24/7</p><p>Artist-in-Residence Programme Summer 2017 The Programme:</p><p> The “Berlin – 3 months 24/7” artist-in-residence programme enables Israeli film professional to live in Berlin for 3 months (summer 2017) so he/she can develop his/hers project and skills and learn about the film industry in Germany.</p><p> The selected candidate will have the opportunity to gain insight into the German production landscape and meet producers and professionals, in accordance with their profile. </p><p> High profile personalities from the German film industry and cultural institutions will act as patrons for the artist-in-residence programme. </p><p> The programme covers: - travel costs; - housing; - allowance (1,000.- EUR/month).</p><p>Eligibility:</p><p> Israeli film professionals (directors, producers, scriptwriters, camerapersons, editors, costume and set designers, composers and sound designers) with a proven professional background in film and television</p><p> Permanent residents of Israel</p><p> Applicants must have completed or worked on at least one film of a minimum of 30 min. in any genre or format</p><p> The completed film must have been supported by a film fund, a professionally recognized body or organisation, or have been commissioned by a broadcaster</p><p>OR </p><p> The film must have won local and international recognition, acclaim and prizes Application procedure:</p><p>Please note: all applications must be submitted in English. </p><p> Submit a statement explaining why you want to be an artist-in-residence in Berlin;</p><p> In the case of directors, producers and scriptwriters, applicants will be required to submit: a) a CV; AND b) a written description and concept of the project (treatment/synopsis or written presentation) maximum 5 pages; AND c) an example of previous work</p><p> In the case of other film professionals, applicants will be required to submit: a) CV AND b) an example for previous film works/projects.</p><p>Dates & Deadline:</p><p> The deadline for applications is November 30rd 2016. The candidates will be selected by the Israel Film Fund, the FFA and the Medienboard Berlin- Brandenburg.
