I pull inspiration from artists such as Twombly, Rauschenberg, Fred Stonehouse, and many of the emerging artists that I come in contact with, though most of my influence can be found in my ordinary surroundings. Silhouettes and colors found in fabric, the decadence of urban settings, and the decay and restoration of architecture and art play major roles in my work.

My current work depicts a fictional place, a kind of skewed version of the world I am living in. A world occupied by humor, cynicism, adventure, fear, and silence. The images in my paintings are vague and candid, like that of a memory; each piece being congruent to the next, with an illegible story that connects them. Images of birds, rain, electrical wires, dirt, water, boats, serve as souvenirs from this world in an unfamiliar place.
