<p> We are pleased to invite you to a PARENT PROGRAM being held at West Middle School, West Middle Avenue</p><p>Binghamton City School District presents LET’S GET TOGETHER IN DECEMBER: LET’S COOK TOGETHER</p><p>We will be holding the monthly parent-child program on Wednesday, December 4 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. This month’s program is “Let’s Cook Together”. We will talk about some ideas to encourage nutrition, math skills and higher level thinking skills in your child while having fun cooking together. We will make celery boats for you and your child to eat or to take home. We will suggest ways to interact with your child during this activity that encourage thinking skills to ready your child for success in school. </p><p>The children will be cared for from 6:00 to 6:30 while the parents are learning about the activities. From 6:30 to 7:00, the parents will join the children for an activity they can make together, read together, and take home.</p><p>*** Free Childcare and Refreshments provided. ***</p><p>Because this program requires materials to be purchased ahead of time, we ask that you please sign up by Tuesday, November 26. We also need to be prepared for the child care arrangements.
