Symposium participants are art historian Gerardo Mosquera, Adjunct Curator, New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York; Alma Ruiz, Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; Judith Bettleheim, Professor of Art History, San Francisco State University; artist and human rights activist Claudia Bernardi; and Hou Hanru, Director, Museum Studies Program, San Francisco Art Institute. Organized and moderated by Anthony Torres, Independent curator and art critic.
