<p> 2015 HCYP Raiders Team Philosophy Agreement</p><p>The following is the team philosophy of the HCYP ______Raiders for the 2015 season:</p><p>As a member of HCYP and a participant in the ______League and various tournaments, the team will be composed of players, coaches and parents who buy into the philosophy of hard work, team chemistry, positive reinforcement and player development. With these, along with solid team coaching, extraordinary player effort, positive and constructive feedback and behavioral integrity, a winning season will be the by-product. </p><p>Players are placed on this roster based on: - Outstanding baseball ability - Positive attitudes - Hustle - “Team” mentality - Willingness to learn and improve - Strong play in the previous year - Proper fit in team chemistry </p><p>The team will place an emphasis on winning while ensuring each kid is challenged in situations they will encounter as they mature in their baseball career. As a youth sport environment, the atmosphere created in practices, games and team functions will be: - Constructive - Educational - Enjoyable - Positive - Non-tolerant of: - negativity - lack of effort - selfishness - lack of discipline - closed mindedness of self-improvement - disrespect</p><p>Kids (and parents) are going to be expected to accept the times when they are not starting in games or are pulled out of game for substituting purposes. This is part of the game of baseball and is expected to be learned in order for kids/families to be prepared for future situations of this kind.
