<p> It’s the Great Pumpkin Harvest, Rams!</p><p>The T. H. Rogers School library is hosting our third annual pumpkin decorating event for Rogers families from now until October 30th! The library is hosting this event because it is a Book Character decorating event! That’s right! We want to see what you can do with a little paint, a little fabric, and other craft supplies to transform an ordinary pumpkin into your favorite character from a book! Maybe you could use red paint to make Clifford or brown yarn for Katniss! We are only accepting pumpkins that are decorated, not carved. (Pumpkins start to rot and smell once you cut into them!) The pumpkin characters will be on display in the school from now until October 30th. Have fun and happy decorating!</p><p>Participation Rules:  Only one pumpkin per Rogers student. Friends & Family pumpkins are welcome too if you want to make just one pumpkin with your siblings or friends. (Show your teamwork!)  Only book characters will be accepted (You must tell what book you used.)  No carving allowed.  You may use a real pumpkin or an artificial pumpkin.  Each pumpkin entry must be accompanied by an entry form (see below). Rewards:  All pumpkin entries turned in by October 8th will be put into a drawing to win $10 gift certificates to the Fall Book Fair. Six winners will be chosen from elementary and three from middle school!  All participants will be given a pencil from the Fall Book Fair. Important Dates:  Wednesday, October 8th- Bring your pumpkin by this date to be entered into the drawing.  Throughout the event- Our Great Pumpkin Harvest will be on display for everyone to view in the hallway by the main office.  Thursday, October 30th- Pumpkins need to be picked up and taken home by the end of the day. </p><p>Happy Decorating!</p><p>Stephanie Hatley T.
