<p> PRESS RELEASE </p><p>Paperboy is going to the movies!</p><p>Merlin Publishing are delighted to announce that the film rights for Paperboy by Tony Macaulay have been snapped up by the award-winning production company Titian Red Pictures (Song for a Raggy Boy) days before the official publication date.</p><p>‘Paperboy is a charming and funny story with a very positive spin on the 1970's (and great music) in Northern Ireland and we know that we can capture the essence of the book and make it into an international feature film.’ Kevin Byron-Murphy, Producer, Titian Red Pictures.</p><p>At present Titian Red Pictures are working on Reconstruction of Warriors, a World War II drama in the vein of The English Patient meets Band of Brothers, based on the book by Emily Mayhew. The film will be directed by Lajos Koltai. Lajos directed Fateless (2005) and Evening (2007) featuring Meryl Streep, Glen Close, Toni Colette, Claire Danes and Vanessa Redgrave. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Cinematography for Malena in 2000. Ashley Judd and Topher Grace are already attached to star in Reconstruction of Warriors and negotiations are in progress with a major Hollywood star to play the main character.
