Put on required PPE.  Do not breathe vapours.</p><p>2. Secure loose clothing, and tie back long hair.  Turn off the machine when checking underneath or if rocks get caught. 3. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.</p><p>4. Follow the school safety policy.</p><p>5. Put away all tools, equipment, and materials in their proper storage areas. </p><p>6. Keep your work area clean as you work and make sure to clean up when you are done.</p><p>7. Establish handwashing practices.</p><p>REPORT ANY HAZARDOUS SITUATION IMMEDIATELY! If an emergency occurs while completing any task or the tool or equipment malfunctions, shut off the power immediately, follow the lock-out procedure, and get help.</p><p>© 2013 Alberta Education Page 3</p>
