<p> Ohio Valley Associated Builders and Contractors Emerging Leaders Group Scholarship Application 2015-2016</p><p>Description - The mission of this scholarship is to financially reward individuals interested in pursuing a career in construction related field. There will be at least one, but possible multiple scholarships valued at no less than $1,000. Eligibility - To be eligible for the 2015-16 scholarship, candidates (as of October 2015) must be enrolled 10th-12th grade, at a high school within the following counties: </p><p> OH – Allen, Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby, Warren</p><p> KY – Boone, Kenton, Campbell</p><p> IN – Dearborn, Franklin, Union</p><p>Scholarship applicants must plan on becoming employed as a construction skilled trades worker or attending a post high school program in a construction related field. This scholarship can be used to fund continuing education programs at a trade school, technical school, community college, 2 or 4 year university or to support purchase of tools of the trade. This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to 4-6 students for 2015-2016. Dates – Completed scholarship applications are due on February 1, 2016. They should be sent to Attn: OVABC ELG Scholarship, 33 Greenwood Lane, Springboro, OH, 45066. Scholarship finalists and a family representative will be invited to attend the April 14, 2016 Excellence in Construction Awards Gala where winners will be announced. Details - Failure to follow instructions may lead to disqualification of your application.
