Demonstrate your eligibility for this category and provide a brief overview of the nature and history of the new tourism business. b. What tourism products, experiences and services do you offer visitors? c. Describe your commitment to tourism excellence. d. Describe your involvement in the tourism industry.</p><p>2. Business Planning (25 points) a. Explain the rationale and philosophies behind this businesses development. How did you determine what was required? b. Provide an overview of the goals for the development of your new business and include key features of your business plan. c. Describe the innovative approaches to product development and design you implemented into your new business. How has this innovative design enhanced your tourism experiences/services? d. What investment has been made in staff training/development and how has this improved the service you provide to your visitors? a. Describe the main risks for your tourism business and the risk mitigation measures you have implemented.</p><p>3. Marketing (20 points) a. Who are your target markets? b. How do you know your product/services meet the needs of your target market? c. What are your unique selling points and how do you communicate these to your customers? d. Describe the innovative marketing strategies you have implemented and the success of these initiatives.</p><p>4. Customer Service (20 points) a. Describe your customer service philosophy/values b. Explain how you provide for visitors with specific needs c. Describe how you measure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement? d. What processes do you have in place to respond to customer complaints? 5. Sustainability and Community Involvement (10 points) a. Demonstrate how your business contributes to the local economy. b. Demonstrate how your business engages with and benefits the local community. c. Describe how your business cares for the local environment.</p><p>Note: The Site Visit will account for 10 points towards the total score. The points allocated to each question give some indication as to the priority judges will place on each question.</p>
