The auction sale will take place at Headwaters Livestock in Three Forks, MT on Saturday December 05, 2015. This will be a dispersion of all our outside partnership cows, our young cows here at the ranch and many of our home-raised foundation females. All of the cattle are on full vaccination program, and be treated with Dectomax injectable prior to sale day. </p><p>The feature of the sale will be 450 head of straight Angus 2 coming 3 year olds. Bred to registered Angus bulls from KG, Sinclair, Felton and Veltkamp breeders. Ultrasound pregnancy checked in late summer for March-April-May calving periods. One-iron Montana cows that have all raised a calf in 2015. Top quality sets of mother cows in the making.</p><p>We will also be selling 185 head of coming 3’s and 4’s that start calving Feb. 10, 2016. These top central Montana cows are from our Lavina ranch partners. Bred to the same high indexing bulls from KG Angus Ranch. </p><p>A special feature of the sale will be 100 Red Angus bred heifers. The heifers are ultrasound pregnancy checked for two week calving periods in March and April. They will weigh around 1000 lbs. and are bred to low birth weight Red Angus bulls. </p><p>In addition, we also be selling 100 5-8 year old cows and 150 older top producing cows. These cows are straight Angus and bred to outstanding Angus sires for March-April-May calving. </p><p>Headwaters Livestock will handle the cattle the same as any other of their stock cow sales.
