COMPANY NAME is proud to support our community through United Way. With your help, we raised $XXXXX for the community! </p><p>Your gift will help one in three people in our region, including the Scott* family.</p><p>It is often said it takes a village to raise a child. Thanks to United Way, the Scotts* found that village through two of United Way’s partner agencies: Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition and Nurses for Newborns.</p><p>Soon after they were married, the Scott’s discovered they were unable to have children of their own. For them, a life without children was not an option. They began to foster children in hopes that they would eventually adopt. And they did. Through the support and services of the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition, the Scott’s have adopted three boys and a girl all under the age of 10 who are now healthy and happy. However, they didn’t all start out healthy. </p><p>Carla*came to the Scotts straight from the NICU six-weeks premature and drug addicted. She needed special care and handling as she could only eat one ounce at a time, slept poorly and normal soothing techniques did not work. For a year, Nurses for Newborns worked closely with the Scotts until Carla was symptom free and developing on target.</p><p>Today, the Scotts still use the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition’s services to help with guidance and support for adoptive families, and have the family they always dreamed of having.</p><p>Thank you for helping people like the Scotts and supporting our community through United Way.
