<p>Stat Book  The Home Team completes the official stats for the game.  Put flap under the fourth copy (Goldenrod).  Collect team and coach stickers from the teams (4 total for each game, for each page)  The pages should be distributed as follows: o White – Home Coach (or left in book) o Yellow – Visiting Coach o Pink – Official o Goldenrod – Left in the Stat Book (at this point)</p><p>Taking Stats Section One  Complete the top line with the game information (where played, level, and date)  Add the roster stickers for each team.  Identify shots on goal per period  Identify which end is Home and which is Visitor  Indicate a Shot on Goal with either a • or an x.  Only considered a Shot on Goal if the goalie would actually need to stop the goal to prevent the puck from going in.  Note the number of goals each period for each team  Write and circle the number of shots each period.</p><p>Section Two Scoring:  Both teams are noted in the same section  Per: Period when the goal was scored  Time: noted at the time of the period that the goal occurred. (Example: if the period is 12 minutes long and the goal happened when the clock reads 10 minutes – the time of the goal is 2:00.)  Team: H or V (Home or Visitor)  Goal: Number of player that scored the goal  Assist(s): Number of player(s) that were involved in the assist  PP/SH: indicate if the goal was scored during a power play (PP) or short-handed (SH) Penalties:  Period, Time, and Team: complete similar to scoring section  No: Player number  Offense: Penalty called by the official  Min: Length of Penalty  Time In: Actual time on clock that player enters the box  Time Out: Actual time on clock that player leaves the box – this may or may not be for the entire length of the original penalty. For instance, if a goal is scored by the opposing team, the player is released early.  Home and away Fair Play Minutes: o Total these minutes at game end o A team loses all Fair Play minutes with a total of 10 penalty minutes.  Calculating Fair Play Total Minutes in the Game (3 x 12 minute periods = 36 minutes) Subtract the total penalty minutes Equals the Total Fair Play Minutes  Acceptable Coach/Fan Behavior (no ejections) o Indicate either “Yes” or “No” for both teams o If “no” should file a report with Minnesota Hockey</p><p>Section Three  The coaches stickers should have been placed in the Home and Visiting team areas prior to the game.  Total the Saves and Scores per period for both teams.  Record the names of: o Scorer (statistician) o Officials – includes Ref signature o Remarks:  Each Head Coach should sign the original sheet after the game.</p><p>After the game: District Game – send template to district within 24 hours of the game via e-mail Tourney Game – complete the template, however it is not necessary to send to the district.</p>
