<p> NOTICE OF VACANCY HEAD COACH- MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY School Features:  Approximately 1800 students in grades 9-12  School currently has a B rating from Indiana Department of Education  School is located in southwest Marion County</p><p>Program Features:  Member of Mid-State Conference with Franklin, Greenwood, Martinsville, Mooresville, Perry Meridian, Plainfield, and Whiteland  Member of IHSAA Sectional 17(Avon, Bethesda Christian, Brownsburg, Cascade, Cloverdale, Danville Community, Decatur Central, Greencastle, North Putnam, Plainfield, South Putnam, Tri-West Hendricks)  Two certified athletic trainers on staff  Great facilities; including state of the art weight room, Armstrong (Indoor) Pavilion, athletic annex building, main competition gym, auxiliary gym, locker rooms, team meeting room/classroom/offices, and a Field-Turf multi-purpose field. </p><p>Qualifications:  Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred  Currently possess or has ability to obtain IHSAA coaching certification  Excellent communication and leadership skills  Knowledge of fundamental Cross Country skills/training  Ability to form positive relationships with student-athletes, school staff, and community members  Ability to organize, supervise, and administer all phases of an education-based Cross Country program </p><p>Application Instructions:  Interested candidates should complete online application and upload resume with cover letter  Teaching positions are to be determined  Deadline for application: until filled</p><p>Lisa Cook Director of Human Resources MSD of Decatur Township [email protected]</p><p>Justin Dixson Director of Athletics Decatur Central High School [email protected]</p>
