How the baby will look and what nurses do after delivery. A short movie of a live birth. Children will see a mother pushing and then the baby and placenta coming out. Tour of birth center

Please Note: CLS will work with each family to share information in a way they are most comfortable with and developmentally appropriate. The class is a positive opportunity for families who are unsure of the idea to learn together and then decide what’s best for them. If unsure of child watching video, younger children take it as it is, older children might think its “gross”, but most find it beneficial to see because they know what they see on delivery day is normal. A support person should be planned to help explain what’s happening, take play breaks, and step out of room with child if it becomes too much. Class typically takes between 30min-1hr. CLS will contact you to schedule a class upon receiving this form.
