Players & Coaches should be at the game at least 15 minutes before game time.</p><p>2. Game will consist of two 20 minute halves. 4th grade will be 15 minute halves. Half time will be 5 minutes. For 4th Grade girls, the basket will be set at 9 feet.</p><p>3. Each team has two timeouts per half (1 minute each). No carryovers.</p><p>4. The clock will stop only for timeouts. a. The clock will stop the last minute of the 1st half and last 2 minutes of the 2nd half on all whistles. b. Free throws will be 1-1 after 7 and 2 shots after 10 fouls in a half.</p><p>5. Jump ball at the beginning of the game, then alternating possession.</p><p>6. All overtimes will begin with a jump ball and shall be played in three minute quarters with the clock stopping for all whistles the last minute. If score remains tied after two overtimes, the game shall enter a “sudden death”. Each team will have one time out per an overtime period, no carryovers.</p><p>7. Technical fouls will be handled in accordance with Nebraska State School Rules.</p><p>8. Once a team reaches a 15 point lead, no full or half court presses. There will be no pressing allowed in the 4th grade games.</p><p>9. Clock will not stop in 2nd half if one team is leading by 20 points or more.(Mercy Rule)</p><p>10. Only registered players will be allowed to play. Players may play on only one team.</p><p>11. Girls ball for game ball.</p><p>12. All other rules shall comply to the Nebraska State High School Rules.</p><p>13. Good sportsmanship through example is required. The relationship between referees and coaches should be one of mutual respect.</p><p>14.
