Vision 2020 Planning Session La Vista, Nebraska June 2 – 3, 2010</p><p>Round B Part 2 2020 Graduate Profile</p><p>Context Given the conversations you’ve just completed and the development of your model of life in 2020, we’ll now shift our focus and develop a profile of the high school graduate in 2020.</p><p>Objective Develop a profile of the characteristics of the high school graduate in 2020. Give your graduate a name, age, gender, and describe a couple of key concerns, interests and hobbies they have. Then, use the following to help complete your profile:  What are the key knowledge, skills and beliefs a graduate in 2020 would need to have in order to be successful in the world of 2020 and beyond? </p><p> What knowledge, skills, and characteristics would ‘set them apart’ or give them ‘an advantage’ (in the most positive way) from other graduates?</p><p>Time You have approximately 40 minutes to complete your work.</p><p>Process Use the white wall to brainstorm and then, on the poster board provided, create your profile of the high school graduate in 2020.</p><p>Exchange After you have developed your response you will have an opportunity to share your work with another group.
