<p>College Cube Project Name of College/University______Name/Per.______Project Description: You will complete a creative College Cube using your college webquest handout and your college website. (http://www.californiacolleges.edu/) Supplies Needed A. Bring in a tissue box with your name and period written on the bottom. Do not remove any tissue. B. 2-3 pages of construction paper of the college colors C. Scissors, glue, and ruler (we will have 1 or 2 days to work in class using classroom supplies) Formatting Your Information: (See back of page for sample) 1. Use Microsoft Word. Google images will be used for the pictures. 2. Your information must be less than 4" wide and less than 5 inches long to fit the cube. 3. Use the ruler on the Word document to make sure your information isn't too large. 4. Resize pictures - To make pictures smaller - click on it and resize using the corners. See back page for sample. 5. Moving pictures: First left click on picture to select, then right click on the picture: Choose format picture, layout, then square - click OK. You can now drag and move the picture around. 6. Font Size: Use only 16 or 18 Font size - must be an easily readable font. Titles can be larger font. 7. College degrees can be typed in 14 font size. 8. You can Center all words by highlighting, then clicking on the Center icon above. 9. Do not use fonts with color unless you have a color printer. 10. All the information should fit on two pages - "3 sides" typed on one page.</p><p>Requirements for ALL six sides of Your College Cube: You can find the information on your College Webquest handout - using http://www.californiacolleges.edu/</p><p>Cross out each item after you type it. Side A: Title - Name of college, the higher education system, college colors, picture of the mascot, picture of the college logo, types of degrees, then name, period, and date Side B: Title - Admission requirements: Provide at least 3 admission requirements of your college, final application filing date, application fee (if given), standardized tests, and choose a picture. Side C: Title - Location: Address, Website, telephone number, map of the college or campus Side D: Title - Sports and Social Activities: picture of college pennant, list at least 8 sports, # of fraternities and sororities, and 4 social activities, picture of their college pennant . Side E: Title - Cost and Financial Aid: Tuition costs for the college, room and board expenses, book fees, meal plan cost (if given), name three ways to pay for college , then add a picture about the college. Side F: Title - Read all About it: Majors the college has (at least 5), name 3 countries where the college has study abroad programs (if they have study abroad), name at least 7 clubs or organizations on campus, a picture of your choice.
