It is said that grief is the price we pay for love, yet the pain can seem unbearable at times. In sharing with others our story and finding people who truly understand, our journey through grief can be eased. No one should grieve alone. That is why the Catholic Diocese Cemeteries would like to help you find the support you may need in the town where you live. In addition to our local comprehensive grief support programs, we also offer individual bereavement consultations and scheduled supportive phone calls for our out of town families. While we cannot offer professional counseling, during the call your needs will be evaluated and we will do our best to help you find community resources in your area.</p><p>If you feel like you need additional support, we would like to offer you a complimentary copy of A Brief Exploration of Grief. This booklet examines many of the common physical and emotional aspects of grief and contains a useful resource guide. CareNotes are also available on a variety of specific topic areas.
