<p>Special Meeting Board of Education Portville Central School, Portville, New York Held: August 26, 2015 @ 6:30 p.m.</p><p>Present: President Tkacik, Andrianoff, Doty, Kloc, Long, Nuffer, Wenke, Wood</p><p>Absent: Rowe</p><p>President Tkacik called at the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.</p><p>A motion was made by Andrianoff, seconded by Wenke, “To approve the agenda.” AGENDA</p><p>Motion carried ayes all. Rowe absent.</p><p>Personnel</p><p>A motion was made by Doty, seconded by Wenke, “to accept letter of resignation S. BEAVER from Sierra Beaver, Social Studies/Consumer Family Sciences teacher, effective RESIGNATION 8/25/15.” Motion carried ayes all Rowe absent.</p><p>A motion was made by Wenke, seconded by Andrianoff, “upon the recommendation D. MITCHELL of the Superintendent, approve Daniel Mitchell, who holds a permanent New York SS/FCS State Teaching Certificate permitting him to teach in the Social Studies 7-12 certification TEACHER area, is hereby conditionally appointed to the position of Social Studies/Family Consumer Science teacher in the Social Studies tenure area for a probationary period of three (3) years, to commence on 9/1/15 and to end on 8/31/18. Eligibility for tenure at the end of the probationary period is dependent on Dan receiving APPR ratings of Effective or Highly Effective in 2 of 3 preceding years and no Ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year. The salary during the first year of this appointment will be paid in accordance with the salary schedule as outlined in the Teachers' Collective Bargaining Agreement.” Motion carried ayes all. Rowe absent.</p><p>A motion was made by Wenke, seconded by Andrianoff, “to approve Patrick Grimmer P. GRIMMER as Psych Intern for the 2015-16 school year at an annual salary of $17,000.” Motion PSYCH carried ayes all. Rowe absent. INTERN</p><p>A motion was made by Wenke, seconded by Doty, “to approve salary wage increase J. SCOTT for Jennifer Scott, full time PK teacher aide, effective 9/1/15.” Motion carried ayes all. WAGE Rowe absent. INCREASE</p><p>A motion was made by Kloc, seconded by Doty, “to approve Nicole Woodhead as substitute teacher aide.” Motion carried ayes all.
