<p> Third Grade News April Edition - 2013 Language Arts We will continue our Reader’s and Writer’s Workshops, Important Dates then we will begin preparing for our PASS Reading Test that will be taken in May. 4/1 – 4/5 – Schools Closed for Spring Break 4/9 - Report Cards Mathematics 4/11 – 1st Federal Bank in School We will be working on fractions, then prepare for the 4/13 – Push Up Challenge at Marion Square PASS Math Test that will be taken in May. 4/16 – PTA Night at 6 p.m. (Math Wizards and Science Fair) Science 4/22 – Earth Day We will begin building background on Structures of Life 4/24 – Administrative Professionals Day with habitats. 4/26 – Goodwin Spirit Day Social Studies We will continue building background on the Civil War, Spelling Words then move in the World War I and II.</p><p>Each week, there will be a total of 20 words - - 14 spelling words, 2 “no excuse” words, 2 challenge words, and 2 review words.
