Vice President Benson called the meeting to order at 10:31am </p><p>II. Roll call was taken by Secretary Dietz. </p><p>III. September Employee Achievement Award Recognition - was awarded to Patty Seevers</p><p>IV. Guest Speaker: Dr. Roger Davis (Robert Rule of Order) – was unable to make it to the meeting</p><p>V. Adoption of Agenda - Motion: Jones/Heinowski – unanimous approval</p><p>VI. Approval of minutes – operator and technical issues</p><p>VII. Treasurer’s Report - Fryda Motion: Swarm/Johnson – unanimous approval</p><p>VIII. Correspondence and Staff Senate website - Dietz  There was no correspondence to report. </p><p>IX. Committee Status Update - Benson</p><p>Professional Development • Concerned about rotating members of and losing history • Recommend removing the max number of committee members permitted • Discussed rotating the chair position • Excited about possible new members list</p><p>Employee Recognition Committee • Discussed the number of members on the committee and how much time should be spent • Currently supposed to have – six staff members and at least 1 Senate representative, but there are nine members • Each year 2 will rotate on/off • JoLene – chair • Kristy Buchmeier – co-chair • Todd will serve as photographer • January 6th, 2016 – Employee Recognition Ceremony/Breakfast • April 14th , 2016 - Administrative Professional Day Lunch</p><p>The Communication Committee  Mitch O’Neil – chair  Diana Jones – continue as Secretary  New employee’s being reached out too  Webpage – Safe Award Winners and Employee/Department Recognition Award winners will be added</p><p>Policy Committee • No Report</p><p>X. Current Business  Football game debriefing – everything went well.  Committee By-law updates – chair/secretary  Storm Hockey subcommittee – Gottula has agreed to be the chair and Fryda has accepted the co-chair.</p><p>XI. Future Business  Storm Hockey Game night – leaning towards a Friday night, Gottula and Fryda will bring back possible dates to the next meeting</p><p>XII.
