<p>Exeter IT – Software Office SPSS Statistics Desktop Installation Guide - HOME USE</p><p>Terms of use This software is on loan to you whilst you are a member of the University of Exeter. </p><p>SPSS Statistics Desktop - Download  Ensure you are logged in with administrator rights on the PC you are using.</p><p>Follow the 4 steps 1. Download the ‘Secure Download Manager’ (if you have not used this system before) 2. Launch the Secure Download Manager’ (if you have not used this system before) This will leave a Secure Download Manager [lightning] icon on your desktop</p><p>3. Download the .SDX file for your chosen software. </p><p> a) If you are unsure of your Windows OS, download, launch, and read the instructions in the ‘Read Me’ file (92 KB). </p><p> b) Download [button] IBM SPSS Statistics Desktop for your OS type</p><p>4. a) Launch [button] IBM SPSS Statistics 21 or 22 for your OS type</p><p>SPSS v21 or v22 Installation</p><p> Ensure you are logged in with administrator rights on the PC you are using.  At the ‘Install Shield Wizard’, click ‘Next’  Accept the terms of the licence agreement – ‘Next’ as directed  When it is complete – click ‘Finish’.</p><p>Activating and Authorising the SPSS v21 or v22 licence  Make a note of the authorisation code to be found in ‘your account’ (copy to clipboard)  After installation click OK to start the Licence Authorisation  Licence my Product Now – click on next  Enter the authorisation code: (paste from clipboard)  Click on next  …and next again  Click on Finish . </p><p>Alex Khan – IT Governance and Compliance 022901af31242d521995a98ff44ac4e4.docx</p>
