Many Slovak people do their shopping in these big shopping centres sucha s Kaufland, Tesco, Billa or Lidl. It is called / volá sa to aj / shopping mall – large indoor shopping centre with different types of shops, cinemas, cafes, wellness centres and also bowling centres. They are late open in the evenings and on weekends. Departmert stotes / obchodné domy / sell of kinds of foods, clothes, shoes, toys,/ hračiek /, sporting goods, cosmetics, books or furniture ú nábytok /. There are also small specialised shops, which save the time and also Money. Corner shops / malé obchody, na rohu / sell different foodstuff, like coffee, tea, beer, sweets – sladkosti, vegetables – zeleninu / They have also newspaper and magazines. Bread / chlieb /, rolls / rožky / , buns / žemle / and cakes you get by bakers / v pekárenskom obchode /. Butchers sells fresh canned / konzervované / or frozen meat / maso/ and meat products like ham / šunka/, sausages / klobásky /. Many people prefer shopping at the market / na trhu / where is wide range of vegetables / zeleniny /, - cabbage – kapusta, onion, carrot – mrkva, tomatoes, fruit like bananas, oranges, apples, pears – hrušky, flowers and others / ďalšie / things. People from our region like going to the market in Poland in Nowy Targ where you get everything. / všetko / Boutiques sell different dresses, skirts / sukne /, blouses, pullovers, jeans,...Than are shoe shops. In every day – life people use different services performed by hairdresser, / kaderník /, car – mechanics, plumbers / udržbár /, Layers – právnikmi. Banks provide / poskytujú / financial services to the people like mortgages / úvery /, open the bank account / otvorenie účtu /, loans / pôžičky...</p><p>Task 2 – Where do you prefer shopping and why ? Task 3 – How we can pay for the good service or food ? / by credit card, by check, or with cash – peniaze v hotovosti / Task 4 – What kinds of services does the post Office provide – we paid there our checks, post assistants bring and letters, packets..</p>
