This convention typically results in positive voltage values for both npn and pnp (unlike the MOSFET convention!).</p><p>* The base current iB is not equal to zero, therefore iE iC (unlike MOSFETS)!</p><p>Jim Stiles The Univ. of Kansas Dept. of EECS</p>
