Minutes from Everyone received minutes from previous meeting. No updates required. 03/13/2006 meeting Old Business 2. Action Items Action item 2 was updated and items 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 were completed. 3. MyYSU CUE-mail dot removal completed. John working on scripts to migrate CUE-mail to (Luminis) Update MyYSU mail. He will migrate the pilot group (150 people) first. Then, he’ll migrate other individual’s email accounts in the pilot group’s department and offices. Students will be migrated in groups over the Summer. We will be acquired additional DASD in order to increase individuals quotas for e-mail. 4. Student Update Jayne Caputo is reviewing catalog in CONV. Marayamah has also download additional files for her to review. High School, Test Score and Degrees will need converted. Jayne needs to fix 1,000 High School records in Model 204. Prerequisites will need to be loaded manually. Carol said that Student needs to set milestones for them to complete. 5. General Person See action item 2. Citizen code and ethnicity needs to be set in Banner and Model 204. Update DARS/Banner interface is coming. HEI reporting provided by NEOUCOM. Is it feasible to install for Finance to pilot? Mary stressed that these report might fulfill Finance’s OBOR (previously know as NACUBO) reporting needs. 6. HR/Payroll Dennis reported that the bank direct deposit information was converted into TEST. Update Next, the employee direct deposit information will be converted. May be delaying Web time entry process if security approval process is complicated. It is really an October “Go-Live” for parallel testing rather than December. Three months between payroll and student. Student needs appointment information. John, Dennis and Marayamah need to determine how to generate CUE accounts from Banner. 7. Financial Aid Team meeting occurred last Friday. Minutes available on web site. Rick asked for estimate to modify existing scripts. 8. Finance Update Budget Prep will be starting. Crosswalks haven’t been maintained in Banner. Mary has been working with functional users on MS Access reports. Finance has closed periods 1 and 2. Mary created filed for Fixed Assets for Packard Thomas. Mary has been resolving duplicate PIDMs and converting some erroneous person records to non- person records. 9. Advancement Dennis said that Pam Balent has contacted Andy concerning some out of balance Update pledges. He sent Pam a process to try to resolve this issue. 10. TouchNet Update Web Check installation scheduled for June 5. Web Tailor changes in SSB for Advancement need coordinated between TEST and PROD. 11. WebFocus It was installed natively (non-USS) on z/OS. Group discussing security and need for Update single point of administration for Banner, ODS and WebFocus. Group concerned about what IBI can deliver (expectation versus reality). DBMS security validates that they have Oracle security. 12. Banner 7.2 Oracle reports installation is still outstanding. Doug working with UDC. Banner 7.2 Update installation still scheduled for end of May. Kirk working on installation in SEED. New Business 13. ODS ODS installation scheduled for week of April 10. ODS 2.2 will be installed under Banner 7.1. ODS Technical training scheduled for week of May 22. ODS Financial Aid and HR/Payroll training moved from February 2007 to September 2006. 14. Third party Third party software installation and implementation needs to be added to the project Software calendar. 15. SCT Support SCT acknowledged that we have purchased 24/7 support. 16. Instance Usage Confusion still exists concerning instance usage.
