Today you will learn the Electric Slide and Southside Shuffle</p><p>Fitness: Aerobic warm-up (5 minutes) moving and stretching to fun music</p><p>Lesson Focus: Teach Electric Slide and Southside Electric Slide – American (Country line dance) Shuffle (see attached for dance steps) Right cross over step (grapevine right) Left cross over step (grapevine left) Music needed: Electric Slide Dance and a popular Step back – right, left, right, left country music song Step left, tap right toe Formation: two or three lines depending on the Step right, tap left heel number of students. Step left, shuffle step turn to the right Repeat</p><p>Southside Shuffle- American (Country line dance) Fan with right foot, 2 times Double heel, double toe Single heel, single toe, single right side Slap left hand against right heel behind body Grapevine right, grapevine left Step left, brush right turning ¼ left Grapevine right Brush left 3 steps and stomp right</p><p>Closure: By the end of the week you should be able to do these dances without teacher lead.
