<p> Drug Rep Policy</p><p>Dear friendly Drug Rep, First off we want you to know that we appreciate your open smile and the upbeat attitude that you carry into our office when you come to check on our sample cabinet and to update our providers on the latest developments and research reports regarding your medication.</p><p>We also appreciate the fact that pharmaceutical companies support the community with free samples and vouchers so that the people who are financially less fortunate have a fair shot at great healthcare.</p><p>But we also have come to a situation where we are running more and more often behind schedule for many a reason, and sometimes you are part of it. Sometimes we have three reps of the same company visiting in short order or even on the same day and since we like you all the same we can’t be rude, but too much is too much.</p><p>To give each one of you the time that you deserve we have implemented the following policy for your visits.</p><p>If you want to restock the sample cabinet you are welcome anytime, but please don’t hold us in the hallway for updates and chit chat, you may also give your computer to the front desk personnel or a nurse to have them carry it to the provider and get a signature faster.</p><p>If you want to detail on your product please schedule a lunch with us on Mondays or Tuesdays, these are the days that our providers have set aside for you and for you only. You will then get to enjoy their undivided attention and this way all of us get the best results out of our workday.</p><p>We know that your work is not getting easier and don’t want to spoil anything for you, but patient care is our top priority and we have to stay focused on that to remain able to deliver the excellent service that we have become known for.
