<p> West Jessamine High School 2016 New York City Senior Trip Itinerary</p><p>Wednesday, April 27, 2016</p><p>4:30 p.m. Board deluxe motor coach for the exciting ride to NYC. A 5:00 p.m. departure is expected. </p><p>8:00 p.m. Dinner stop in Charleston, West Virginia- Golden Corral. </p><p>2:00 a.m. Rest stop in Maryland- change of drivers in Hagerstown, Maryland</p><p>Thursday, April 28, 2016</p><p>Early morning stop at the Vince Lombardi Service area to change clothes and get ready for the day.</p><p>7:30 a.m. Breakfast Variety Cafe in lower Manhattan –</p><p>8:30 a.m. Walk to Battery Park to board Liberty Ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Students will be given time to visit both the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. </p><p>Students will be given $10.00 to purchase lunch either here or at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. </p><p>12:15 p.m. meet at Battery Park and walk to the 9/11 Memorial site.</p><p>12:30 p.m. Group reservations at the 9/11 Memorial. </p><p>1:30 p.m. Board buses for an uptown ride to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for to a 2:30 self-guided visit. </p><p>5:00 p.m. The bus will bring us The Crowne Plaza, Midtown for check in. </p><p>8:00 p.m. Dinner at The Hard Rock Café </p><p>9:30 p.m. Group photo in Times Square</p><p>10:00 p.m . After the dinner and the photo, spend the remainder of the evening exploring the sights and sounds of the theater district.</p><p>Friday, April 29, 2016</p><p>7:00 a.m. Walk to across the street to Mama Sbarros for breakfast buffet.</p><p>8:00 a. m. After breakfast walk down 49th Street for a visit to the “Today Show”</p><p>9:00 a.m. Gather in front of the NBC store and walk to 6th Avenue to meet Grayline on 6th Avenue for our three hour tour of New York City. Upper and Lower Manhattan will be included in the tour. </p><p>Jessamine County Senior Trip (9/1/15) Page 1 12:00 p.m. The buses will drop us in at Broadway and Canal Street Chinatown / Little Italy where you will experience many cultural and ethnic groups working and living in this one area. You will have time to shop and eat lunch at the restaurant of your choice. </p><p>3:30 p.m. It's a subway ride uptown with time to get ready for the night's activities</p><p>6:30 p.m. Dinner at Momma Sbarro's in Times Square- the same place you ate breakfast</p><p>8:00 p.m. The curtain goes up on a Broadway show. Selection will be based on ticket availability.</p><p>11:00 p.m.- room check </p><p>Saturday, April 30, 2016</p><p>8:00 a.m. Load the buses for trip home. </p><p>8:30 a.m. Walk to Breakfast at McDonalds’s on 42nd Street</p><p>9:30 a.m. Walk to “30 Rock” for a tour of the NBC Studios. The large group will be split into smaller groups . See your chaperone for your tour time. The tour will last about 60 minutes. </p><p>After your NBC Studio Tour the students will be given time to explore 5th Avenue. Students will also be given money for lunch. </p><p>4:00 p.m. - - Meet on the steps of Saint Patrick's Cathedral @ 5th Avenue and 50th Street. Visit the cathedral while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive.</p><p>4:30 p.m. –Go to the Top of the Rock for a great view of the city. </p><p>5:30 p.m. Meet buses on 6th Avenue for a ride to our final New York activity- a dinner cruise around New York Harbor.</p><p>10:30 p.m. Board the deluxe motor coach for our ride home.
