<p> PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM VALLEY JOB OPPORTUNITY</p><p>Posting Date: February 5, 2016 Closing Date: February 28, 2016</p><p>JOB TITLE: Member Services Representative LOCATION: Spring Valley YMCA</p><p>EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Part time HIRING SUPERVISOR: Lisa Hollenbach HOURLY WAGE: $9 </p><p>Position Description: The Spring Valley YMCA is seeking reliable, dedicated staff who will represent the mission of the YMCA to members, staff, volunteers and vendors. Welcome Center staff greet and welcome all constituents of the YMCA and develop relationships that ensure member retention and satisfaction. Additionally, staff will provide interviews and tours to potential members and establish the benefits of the YMCA that meet their individual needs. Welcome Center staff assist members in registering for programs by performing a variety of transactions to maintain member records, program registration, cash receipting, credits, and financial assistance. We are looking for dynamic, friendly staff who will provide accurate information regarding programs, membership options, and schedules and ensure a positive member experience. YMCA membership is a benefit of employment.</p><p>Requirements:  Ability to work 2 shifts or 8 hours per week  College degree in related field with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent life experience  Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, record keeping, and computer skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment.  Ability to work well with volunteers, employees, board members and members required.  Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence  Acquire and maintain the following certifications:  CPR Pro/AED/O2 (valid 2 years unless otherwise noted)  First Aid (valid 2 years unless otherwise noted)  Requisite Redwoods Online Trainings (valid 2 years unless otherwise noted)</p><p>Multiple shifts available:  Thursday evening 5-8pm  Friday evening 5-8pm  Saturday 1–6/7pm  Sunday 2-8pm</p><p>Interested applicants should complete an employment application (https://philaymca.org/about-us/careers/) and return to: Lisa Hollenbach, Senior Membership Director Email: [email protected]</p><p>Page 1</p>
