<p>DILP Minutes- October Meeting</p><p>Attendees: Meshach Rhoades, Kathleen Nalty, Hannah Wanebo</p><p>September minutes approved.</p><p>Request to Fund Cherry Creek Diversity Conference - Motion made by Meshach Rhoades to fund at $250. Seconded by Hannah Wanebo. All voted to approve. </p><p>Request to fund Reception Honoring USDC Appointee Christine Arguello- Motion made by Kathleen Nalty for $250, Seconded by Meshach Rhoades. All voted to approve.</p><p>Update on Colorado Campaign for Inclusive Excellence (Kathleen Nalty): CCIA planning diversity conference on March 18, 2009 at DU. CCIE will hire Dr. Erin Reeves to present. </p><p>Summit “gap” conference will be held on November 6, 2008 at 4:30 at Morrison & Foerster to discuss streamlining diversity efforts. </p><p>Mentoring “dream team” program is off to a successful start. Certain “dream teams” have purchased LSAT prep books for their schools. </p><p>New Business: </p><p>November meeting cancelled. </p><p>December 2, 2008 meeting will be held at DU.</p><p>COBALT needs diverse applicants for its 2009 class. $1250 fee for the 6 month course + 2.5 day retreat. Visit the “cobar.com” website to apply. Scholarships are available. COBALT starts accepting nominations in July/August. </p>
