<p> SACSA 2009 with NASPA Region III: Composing the Lyric of Our Future</p><p>CALL FOR PROGRAMS Deadline: August 31, 2009</p><p>SACSA with NASPA Region III is currently soliciting program proposals for the 2009 Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Do you have a research project you would like to share? Have you implemented a program that addresses a key issue on your campus? Can other Student Affairs professionals learn from your experiences? Have you always wanted to present at a professional conference? If so, we want to hear from you!</p><p>What: SACSA 2009 Conference with NASPA Region III When: November 7-9, 2009 Where: Nashville, Tennessee Theme: Composing the Lyric of Our Future</p><p> Program Options:  1-hour Program Sessions</p><p> Scholarship:  Results from an original research project  Comprehensive review of literature  Discuss a research project that is in process  Provide “how to” information for emerging scholars (i.e., writing, research, etc.)</p><p> Best Practices Related to Key Issues in Student Affairs:  How has your campus, division, or department addressed a key issue within Student Affairs (i.e., alcohol, retention, diversity, service learning, sexual assault, Greek life, etc.)</p><p> Best Practices Related to Student Affairs Professional Development:  Assist other professionals to become more effective and efficient (i.e., time management, successful meetings, chairing committees, developing collaborative relationships, dealing with change and transition, assessment techniques, balancing personal time with professional responsibilities, career development, etc.)</p><p> Submission Information: All proposals must be submitted via an online system linked through the SACSA website (http://sacsa.acamedics.com.) Submission instructions are available on the “Annual Conference” section of the SACSA website.
