<p> We Beat the Street Essay Assignment/Project</p><p>You have just finished reading We Beat the Street, and learned that achieving success is possible. Choose one of the three main characters from the novel we have just finished reading. You can choose based on whoever’s story you connected with the most, struggled the most, or achieved the most success; the choice is yours. After choosing your character, you must decide on a theme song that represents your chosen character’s success. After choosing your character and deciding on your theme song, you are going to write a three-four paragraph essay explaining why the song you chose fits your character. </p><p>Requirements:</p><p> Choose Rameck, Sam, or George as your character to focus on for the essay. This assignment is about their success and how they achieved it. </p><p> You must use at least three specific events from the novel that contribute to your chosen to character’s success. These events can be positive events or struggles endured along the way. </p><p> You must use three specific examples from the lyrics of your chosen theme song in your essay and connect them to the events in your chosen character’s life. </p><p> Your essay must be typed and written in Times New Roman, size 12 font, and double- spaced. </p><p> Provide a copy of the lyrics with your essay. </p><p> Keep the lyrics clean and appropriate. Find a clean copy of the lyrics. </p><p> Be creative! </p><p>Due Dates:</p><p> Lyric Analysis Sheet = Thursday, January 14th </p><p> Outline = Optional </p><p> Rough Draft = Monday, January 18th</p><p> Final Copy = You MUST e-mail me the final copy of your essay prior to school starting on Tuesday, January 19th, by 5:00 am. I will print them and they will count as your final copy.
