CQR Overview Hiromi explained overview of CQR technical committee, including its officers, its background and recent activities, its charter and CQR chairman’s awards. He also explained its re-certification which was submitted in November 2009. </p><p>2. CQRM Symposia in ICCs and GLOBECOMs Hiromi explained CQRM symposia in ICCs and GLOBECOMs and their representatives and statistics. Hideaki Yoshino, CQR Vice-chair added that CQR TC was awarded the outstanding leadership award for increasing paper submissions. </p><p>3. CQR Workshops Hiromi explained the CQR 2010 workshop which will be held in Vancouver, June 8-10, 2010. He also explained planning status of the CQR 2011 workshop which will be held in Naples, Florida, May 10-12, 2011. Its paper submission due is December 13, 2010. </p><p>4. Other Activities Hiromi explained other activities of CQR TC, including membership upgrade and Distinguished Lecturers.</p><p>- 1 - Membership upgrade: Koichi and Kenichi were promoted to the IEEE Fellow in 2005, Hiromi in 2008. Koichi is also a Distinguished Lecturer, and will make a trip to Italy as a Distinguished Lecturer next week. He also explained the ComMag feature topic issue which will feature Network Disaster Recovery. Its manuscript submission due is June 1, 2010.</p><p>5. Other Business (1) CQR 2012 In return to Koichi’s question, Stefano explained proposal of hosting a CQR workshop in Pisa, including its attractions, transportations, and costs. Koichi said that it will be discussed at CQR 2010. Kenichi asked the number of expected attendees of CQR 2010. The answer was 60 to 70 attendees with maximum expectation of 100. </p><p>(2) ICC 2011 Koichi briefly explained about ICC 2011, including its plans on symposia, tutorials and business forum.
