Emma Sanders (‘17) spent many hours fall semester, even a thirteen-hour day once or twice, composing the musical score to the film. But she didn’t do it for the recognition. “Being able to compose at all is a reward. </p><p>Soundtracks are my passion!” However, Emma admitted feeling a constant pressure as everyone depended on her to create a score worthy of the Student Emmys. She tried to match the team’s level of expertise and often felt underqualified, but eventually Emma found that taking the project in bite-size pieces allowed her to receive the inspiration she needed to compose a masterpiece.</p>
