<p>February 10, 2014</p><p>Dear Parent(s):</p><p>In order to be as fair as possible with the selection of students for the Birmingham City Schools Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) classes, a random selection system is used. Parents will be required to complete and submit a random selection application. This application will be placed in a container for drawings that will be held April 1-2, 2014 at each school that has an Office of School Readiness (OSR) Pre-K program. Sixteen random selection applications will be drawn for each class. The remaining applications (up to 30) will be drawn and the children will be placed on a waiting list. The enrollment process is scheduled for March 12-14, 2014. To be eligible for the random selection drawing, applications must be in by 12:00 noon on March 14, 2014. </p><p>The random selection drawing for Phillips Academy will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 6:00 p. m. Parents are welcome to attend the drawings. </p><p>Please complete the random selection application below and return it to your child’s zoned school. Only one application is required for twins or triplets.
