<p> Positions Available: Donor Relations & Data Coordinator Location/Department: CIS Central Office, 601 E. Fifth Street, Charlotte, NC /Development & Community Affairs Job Status: Non-Exempt / Full Time</p><p>Primary Function: Provides documentation, tracking, and oversight of database including accuracy, timeliness, and management of donor records and donations. Guides reporting functionality and is responsible for assisting VP of Development and Community Affairs with financial-related data and donor analysis; defines and promotes best practice application and adoption for effective database usage among Development Office staff. Assists team with donor relations including stewardship, donor requests and sustaining donor and community partner support and engagement. </p><p>Major Areas of Responsibility:  Manage data entry and donor records, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency for inputting data into Raiser’s Edge;  Collects, monitors, and accurately enters various financial and in-kind donation-related data into donor software system; includes researching, building and maintaining profile records;  Handles data entry for notes/cultivation actions/appeals/constituency coding and subsequent tracking;  Pull query reporting, donation trend analysis, and ad-hoc reporting in preparation for board of directors and other leadership meetings;  Processes gift acknowledgements, tax receipts and credit card donations and reporting, including audit controls and reconciliation processes;  Respond to donor inquiries concerning gift history, receipts and other documentation;  Provide routine maintenance and clean-up of donor database;  Coordinate and support fundraising administrative activities as needed;  Support execution of annual campaign;  Support donor prospect follow-up communications as needed (telephone and letter communication);  Monitor documentation of CIS partnership involvement in Raiser’s Edge database;  Support donor prospect follow-up communications as needed; and  Assist with community engagements such as workplace United Way campaigns, fairs, etc., as needed/requested. Job Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in fields related to Resource Development, Marketing, Business or other related area;  Minimum of 2 years of donor cultivation and database management experience, partnership or client relationship management;  Must be self-motivated, well organized, detail oriented, and able to effectively work independently and within a team framework;  Must have an exceptional ability to build/maintain relationships and foster collaboration with staff, external donors, partners, Board and volunteers;  Strong interpersonal communication skills required, as well as a high level skill in written and verbal communication;  Computer literate in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint required; proficiency with Raiser’s Edge donor software preferred; and  Must be decisive and responsive to all stakeholders.</p><p>Contact Information: Please submit resume and cover letter to Carolyn Rockett by February 20, 2014 by e-mail or fax. </p><p>E-mail: [email protected] | Fax: 888-428-6525</p>
