Map Selection: If You Select an Aerodrome on the Map You Will Be Forwarded To

Map selection: If you select an aerodrome on the map you will be forwarded to:

Aerodrome and FIRs, there you have to put in ICAO-codes for the wanted Aerodromes. If you get the answer “NOTAM NIL” on a briefing, it means there are no NOTAM issued for this AD. If the answer is “NOTAM NOT STORED FOR THIS AERODROME. PLEASE CONTACT THE AERODROME OPERATOR BEFORE OPERATING”, that means we do not receive or are not on the distribution list for this AD, meaning there are no NOTAM from this AD in our database.

Predefined PIB. Tailored briefing made by AIS/NOTAM based on application. Scheme for what has to be included is available at [email protected]. The PIBs are updated every year, based on feedback from the customers who has to verify that they still need the PIB.

Narrow Route. This briefing can be based on a callsign or a valid route description. Navigational aids (VOR, DME etc), significant points (MITZI, DANDI etc), LAT/LONGor AWY/ATS-routs can be used instead of a callsign in a filed IFR-FPL. Except AWY/ATS- routs these points can also be used in VFR-FPL which gives you the opportunity to retrieve a narrow route briefing also for VFR-flights. Routing for a VFR-flight ENBR-ENCN for LNMIZ can look like this: FLS DCT KRM DCT ZOL DCT SVA. If a VFR-FPL is filed like this, briefing can be obtained just by inserting DEP, DEST and the callsign LNMIZ.

Beneath the line “Please check/uncheck boxes to tailor your briefing” there are several checkboxes: “Include NOTAM” means that you will get all NOTAM with purpose N (immediate notification), B (bulletin) and O (operational). “Include (M)icellaneous NOTAM” means that you will get all NOTAM, also those marked with M in the purpose box on a NOTAM. Those are NOTAM of less significance, but can be of interest for some customers. These are some of the topics which are defined by ICAO to be miscellaneous: TWY, docking system, WDI, fan marker, obstacle erected, air display, aerobatics, glider flying, parachute jumping, model flying. Remark: Norway has upgraded NOTAM about TWY, PJE and GLD from M to BO, whilst briefing requests for foreign aerodromes primarily follow ICAO specifications. (Doc8126)

Perm NOTAM cutoff day(s) ? mean(s) that the default value of PERM-NOTAM visible on the bulletins are 365 days, but the customer himself can extend the number of days a PERM-NOTAM shall appear on a briefing to be up to 999 days. You can also get a closer explanation by pressing the ? (questionmark-button).
