<p> Precalculus Probability and Statistics Day 1 Measures of Central Tendency  Mean: the average of a set of numbers, find the sum of n set of numbers and divide by n.  Median: when a set of number are listed in increasing order, the median is the number in the middle. If there are two numbers in the middle, the median is the average of the two middle numbers.  Mode: the number that appears most often in a set. If more than one number appears the same number of times, both numbers are the mode and the set is called bimodal.
