<p> N Fitchburg State University U Department of Nursing R RN-BSN ONLINE CURRICULUM 2012-2013 S</p><p>AD RN’s A total of 60 credits composed of nursing and liberal arts and science courses taken at another accredited two-year educational institution, if evaluated by the Registrar as equivalent to those offered at Fitchburg State University, are acceptable in transfer. If an articulation agreement exists, an additional 3-4 credits may be accepted in transfer. An additional 15 credits of liberal arts and science courses may be accepted in transfer from another accredited four-year educational institution for a maximum transfer of 75 credits.</p><p>Diploma RN’s Those nursing courses listed with an asterisk (*) must be acquired by taking the appropriate tests from the NLN ACE II exams (NACE). Arrangements must be made through the Department of Nursing at Fitchburg State University.</p><p>Required upon Entrance These courses must be acquired through NLN ACE II exams (Diploma RN’s only) NLN ACE II Exams must be completed prior to enrolling in Nursing courses. *NURS 2500 Pathopharmacology I 3 Spring: Semester I *NURS 2600 Pathopharmacology II 3 NURS 3500 Concepts of Nursing I 3 *NURS 2900 Medical-Surgical Nursing I 4 NURS 3600 Concepts of Nursing II 3 *NURS 3200 Core Concepts of Mental Health NURS 3650 Portfolio Preparation 1 Nursing 5 *NURS 3300 Maternal-Newborn Nursing 5 *NURS 3400 Medical-Surgical Nursing II 5 7 *NURS 3900 Pediatric Nursing 5 The three courses listed above must be completed 30 before progressing to the next level of nursing courses. Graduates of associate degree programs receive 30 credits for their nursing courses taken at the Financial aid is available to GCE students if registered associate degree level.
